Not user friendly
I like the software, but the authorization process was very very bad it was not user friendly had to get a gifted computer person just to help me with the authorizing. Then when I achieved that it was difficult getting the program to play WOW....

Love the synths, hate the default installer but I have a workaround that works fine.
Auturia's done it again. I have 6 of their virtual synths and this is a great way to find a synth that speaks to you while you evaluate them. When you're finished, you choose "The ONE" you want to keep and make the license for that synth permanent. I ended up buying 4 copies of this package since I got them for a pretty good deal.I ended up licensing the CS-80, the ARP 2600, the Jupiter and the Prophet. I purchased SEM separately. Even though the documentation doesn't mention it, you can use the license for a couple of their other synth too.I love all of the synths I've purchased from them and bought the "Dr Bob" Moog pack as well. Some people poo-poo soft synths since they claim they don't sound *exactly* like the original instruments. I've never really heard any substantial difference and the old analog synths don't sound exactly alike when compared to a supposedly identical instrument. I compared a couple of B3s side by side and they didn't sound identical either which is why I use a virtual B3 nowadays too. No more back breaking hardware to lug around. No more emergency repairs just before a show. The software installed easily and licensing was pretty simple once you learned the trick to making it work.I had problems with the installer on the disk, so I got the license manager software from their site then received a 14 day demo license from Arturia, downloaded all of the demo versions I wanted from their site rather than using the built-in installer. Demoed the ones I was interested it, then used the license key included in the box to register which one I wanted to keep. Yeah, their installer could be a LOT better, but 'cheating' worked just fine for me. I've done it a few times now and use the Steinberg USB licensing dongle which holds all of the keys so I can move back and forth between my 8-core Mac Pro and my i7-based MacBook Pro.I've not noticed any issues with lag or latency when using it with Logic and a couple other soft synths. I've had no issues using it with my SL MKII at all.

Poor service and quality
I bought this product and have been a complete disaster, not support at all, even following instruction my decided synth does not work at all. I send many messages to Arturia and they just ask what kind of daw and bits and never come back with an answer. Never could run the plugin property even though I handle too many others like Waves, Native, Fxpansion, Toontrack, etc. If you want to have troubles for free just buy it.

Good software, horrible instructional manuals and support
As another customer has already mentioned, the authorization process you will be subjected to isn't good. It's bad and made worse by 1) the complete absence of any telephone support and b) an indifferent attitude toward actually following up e-mail requests. Just to make the whole process as unpleasant as possible, you'll never have the same support person e-mail you twice. So, you get a reasonably caring support person who makes reasonable suggestions for problem solving, then when you follow up, you get someone completely different with a bad attitude.I would just like to say one more thing about the process that's not good: the users' manuals, which look so well-designed and with lots of nice photos, are just a joke. I get tired of Americans always banging on the French for this and that, but in this instance--whew! The author can always find a way of inserting a truly lame jokey comment in the midst of the explanation, which is otherwise condescending, and, not to be picky, but his English is far from colloquial. Half the features in the sequencer section are unexplained and the rest are badly glossed over. You will not learn how to program the sequencer from the manual--just get started figuring it out for yourself.Once you get beyond all that, the company's software instruments (at one time or another I've owned 5-6 and now use the 2600 and Moog Modular), are really quite good. That's important, and probably more important than the deficiencies I've griped about above. They really ought to try and fix these problems. Hiring someone like Jon Margulies, the guy who's written such great manuals on Ableton Live, etc., to rewrite these manuals would, I'm convinced, more than pay off in increased sales.

this is great
i like how you get to test out all these varieties of programs with a great selection of instruments. It's bummer you only get access to one so you gotta make it count til you get the rest of them but still. it's awesome package

Great Virtual Synth.
I would recommend every module if you can afford it. Very thick and nice sounds. Can customize every aspect of waveforms.
