Dietz replacement globe for D-Lite or Jupiter

Glass felt thin and had visible bubbles.
Sure it works, but the shadows the bubbles leave are pretty distracting and the thinness of the globe doesn't inspire much confidence that it won't break during cleaning like the last one did.

Glass thickness is too thin.
I just ordered this. It's made it China, now. It is much thinner, cheaply made, compared to my original Deitz D-Lite globe from 15-20 years ago. I'm going to return this and look for an older, used, thicker glass one on Ebay, perhaps.
