Bear Grylls Insulated Water Bottle

This thermal bottle is superb allbeit a bit on the pricey side. It keep cold water cool for a long time, sometimes even into the next day and hot water warm for long periods too.I bought this to keep my water cool whilst training in the swimming pool and so far it works a treat. I would love to see some interchangeable lids for different things e.g. sports caps and such like. It would be a welcome addition for the manufacturer to also sell the seals as oddly mine vanished but that just have been me...Over a year old, slightly chipped but has stood the test of time well and would be a great thing to buy for yourself or as a gift.

Did a side by side comparison with the 600ml Bear Grylls flask & Camelbak Chute Mag 20oz flask,- I poured newly boiled water into both flasks and after eight hours there was a clear winner with the Bear Grylls flask a full 10°C hotter at 60°C above the Camelbak at 50°C. That is significant after just eight hours. To put that into more perspective, at 50° I can reasonably comfortably keep a finger in the water, at 60° no way, so would still be a reassuringly hot drink or soup. a similar performance would be apparent for cold liquid. . . My only smallish problem is that I much prefer the clever positioned pour-spout top on the Camelbak, for more controlled suppage & less chance of accidental spillage.Gryllsy mate, . . please could you have your designers produce a similar choice?, . . I'll keep my eyes peeled!

When it arrived I was sceptical that it would do the job. It seemed to be much too light! So I made up my tea when I went to bed and opened the flask in the morning 9 hours later. The tea was really hot! Amazing! I sat up in bed, drinking my tea, imagining that Bear Grylls had brought it to me. Great! There's even a "Never Give Up" motto inside the lid.

Well got this end of Nov '18, so only had it a short time and only used it once for a coffee at football, although the weather this year hasn't been freezing yet it kept the coffee hot. It has a wide opening but the actual flask is a little slippery, which is my only criticism.I asked the question about the lid when dropped, well I dropped mine completely by accident, bounced with a little dent in the bottom but lid undamaged.

I hate to have to admit that anything with Bear Grylls name on it is good but this is... The flask keeps soup hot for a very long time (pre heated flask, still piping hot after six hours) and has a wide enough neck that you can eat directly from it. Construction is simple, compact and the lid design is good, better than the Stanley flasks I've had fail on me twice now.

I’m sure my 34yr son will love this for his birthday/Christmas present. Not decided which one it’s for yet with both being so close together. Anything to do with bear he will like. Think this is great for anybody young or older. Great for all

I have tried many different bottles and this is the best, does has it says keeps drinks hot and cold, I like the wide mouth which makes it easier to clean then those that are narrower, I have ordered 3 of these so far for other people, would recommend, good price for something that will be used every day.

This bottle is great, I use it every day. The insulation is the best I have come across.Keeps things ice cold until the end of the day, and the same with hot stuff.Plus I love the colour.

Great bottle but the cap broke already. I wish there was a way to just buy the cap instead of scrapping the whole bottle :(

J'ai acheté 3 de ces bouteilles. Elles sont très bien conçues et solides. Il faut cependant faire attention à ne pas dévisser le couvercle avec l'anneau en caoutchou, ce n'est pas fait pour ça et ça risque de briser le couvercle. Appart ça c'est très solide et l'eau froide reste froides pour des heures et des heures. Très satisfait de ces bouteilles.

It’s a piece of junk. I had this for literally 8 hours and whatever internal components are in the bottle are already rattling inside. I’m returning as soon as possible. It wouldn’t last a minute in the wild - much like Bear without his film crew.

When I was picking the bottle I went with the looks and wasn't disappointed. Mine is a rich green color. A great bottle for holding your water will keep ice for at least 6-8 hours. Had it for at least a few months, paint still intact, no chips. If you plan to use it to store anything but water, wash the lid in the dishwasher as it might retain odor ( I use mine for protein shakes and sometimes the lid smells like DEATH, but that's my fault)

I love this bottle! My first insulated bottle. Keeps my water cold for two days!Update: had one of these for six months and one for about four. I love how well they work for the price, I broke the first lid about a month ago. The handle didn't work, but it was still useable. I broke the second one today.. so sad, it just exploded from a short drop.. I've been trying to find a replacement lid..no luck so far, and it seems that might be the kicker for these bottles. Too bad.

Have been using this water bottle now for several weeks, and have to say I love it, especially the simplicity of it... mouth opening to get ice inside without difficulty if needed. Stays hot or cold as stated. The rubber band around the bottle cap makes it easy to get the cap off and on even for old hands like mine. No issues with condensation. The rubber carrying handle is just the right length to attach to a clip to the side of my kit bag to make sure it doesn't fall out of the pocket unexpectedly. I would buy this again.

I've gone through so many water bottles that cannot survive getting kicked and dropped around. Finally, I've come to a bottle whose paint can take quite a scuffing and whose body can take a beating. I am used to my bottles showing the silver of their material after a few scratches, but this bottle lasted it all.People keeping saying their lid breaks, but mine is still functional.

Great product and very nice design. Not easy to find a nice looking water bottle that is insulated and of that size. It is light for its size as it claims but that much water is a lot of weight in itself which was fine as I purchased if for its capacity. Even though the handle is not attached to the body of the bottle, it's better as you won't have to worry about it tearing or the cap hitting your face while drinking. Wide open mouth is great for easy cleaning. Never tested it with hot water but it does prevent the water from getting hot even when I was in weather hovering 40 degrees. Highly recommend

Great container. I bring ice to work and it's still totally frozen at 5pm/6pm and could last a lot longer. Keeps hot tea piping hot for at least a few hours. Lightweight, doesn't sweat, large opening, easy to clean(handwash), lid threads on and off easily. I don't really carry it much by the strap so can't comment on its ultimate quality. I bought a 2nd one and am considering buying the larger size!

Good water bottle... I love the wide mouth, and the textured coating seems to be very durable. Only (minor) complaints, it doesn't seem to keep things quite as cold (not sure about hot) as other bottles I have used in the past but does a well enough job (Ice melted quickly, but 24+ hours later was water was still cool.) and wish it held a bit more (24 oz would have been perfect).

Good feel holding it. I got the bigger one and I don't struggle just holding it in my hand for a while. FYI, doesn't fit in mine or most car cup-holders. Definitely lives up to expectation in regards to keeping water cold. I don't sense a change in temperature at all throughout the day, unless the bottle is like 1/4 filled. Warms up quicker then, probably each time you open it.My only draw back so far is that there has been a slight smell that shows up pretty quickly. I'm not sure if it has to do with my water or that I need to clean it more. Its easy to clean, nice stainless steel, good lid. I haven't had the lid problems that I have read about, its a good lid in my opinion. Love the rubber grip, spins easily, no problems!

The seal broke 8 weeks after using this I emailed the customer service department and they mailed me a replacement immediately ... fast and friendly customer service sometimes is as important as the product itself! I bought the 32oz one at the same time it hasn’t had any problems with the seal it keeps ice frozen often over 24 hours .. it’s a really good value and price and is easier to hold than non corrugated bottles!

First of all, it is SO beautiful, I deeply enjoy the mate colour.Also, it keep soup and tea hot all day! And in winter, you water, well, stays water.I take it everywhere and I really love it. Dropped it on floors, concrete, rocks, you name it! and if the painting shows some of its adventures, the bottle is still in perfect shape!Only 2 downsides : It is kind of heavy (about 360g) and... I put some beer in it once and it took super long for the smell to go away

Bottle keeps drinks ice cold! I only drink water out of it. I have filled it up, put some ice in the bottle and left it on the counter overnight and there is still tons of ice in the morning. It is a good size because it holds almost a liter of water. The O-ring in the top does get dirty but it is easy to remove and clean. For the price this is as good or better than other much more expensive bottles like S'Well

Bought this for work and hiking. Needed something to keep my water from freezing. Looks good, price is good, like the loop on top for carrying/attaching it to packs.Unfortunately after only a week's use at work it fell from about 4 feet off the ground and the entire lid has shattered. I was hoping a "Bear Grylls" product would be heavy duty and survive a few drops like an indestructible nalgene, but sadly not.
