Awesome book
To be honest I didn't really know what I was buying when I got this. It's turned into an awesome miss-buy. I bought this for my newborn son thinking there would be cute nursery stories and rhymes in there. That it is not. But I've still read the entire thing and enjoyed every second of it. Must buy.

This is a fine addition to my leather collection of library publications
Quality. A book that can be passed onto my daughter and her two children (who are 4 and 6 and have been looking at and now reading books from their own children's library). Their mom does not allow them to watch TV.Their is nothing better than a fine leather bound book with good paper and illustrations to increase the story of the author.

Great book, very well done and worthy of your purchase
Excellent book, lovely covers. Unfortunately I needed to take off a star because the book was very poorly packaged and as a result the spine was slightly broken. I would highly recommend this book to add to your library.

Beautiful Book.
I saw this in Ireland and wanted to buy it but it was heavy for the suitcase (😕). I checked amazon and they had it for about $8 less!

Pretty but arrived damaged
Beautiful but ripped and spine off the cover. I’ll be returning. I don’t mind used but I don’t want a book that’s falling apart.

A good introduction to irish fairy tales
Exactly what I was looking for! Beware, though, this edition does not come with illustrations - as barnes & noble fairy tale collections usually do. A small price to pay, if we are to consider that, this allows to give more space to the stories themselves. And if anything this collection seems very inclusive! So far, I prefer these tales to those of the Grimm brothers and Hans Christian Andersen. Then again, this most likely has to do with personal preferences. If you like fairies, gnomes, witches, fairy doctors, giants, pranks and ghosts, look no further! Here is a reference list, just to know from where this collection derives its content:

The stories were SO boring
This is a beautiful book, with wondrous artwork in the front and back covers. But the stories were SO boring. And I absolutely love fairytales and have read a wide range of them in the past

Faerie stories from Eire in one volume
Stunningly bound, gold edged pages, beautifully illustrated throughout, informative stories of creatures of the otherworld. A must have copy for tale tellers.
