Works as advertised so far.
I purchased this to aid in my hobby of working with Kydex plastic, for fine tuning items that I mold.I have used much more expensive hot air guns and the only difference I can see is the lack of a heat setting display and variable heat control between high and low temp,( this item has only a low and high). It heats quickly and its light. It has preformed well thru about 10 different projects so far, but as I only use it for final adjustments I haven't had to use it for long periods at one time.So far it has worked well for my purposes.I would hope that I do not have to buy another one for quite some time, but if my wife were to get mad at me for spending to much time on my hobby and smashed it before it stopped working prematurely, I would purchase this again.

Smokes a little but works
The plastic feels cheap but there's a lot on the box for the price and it works fine although the end of the gun releases smoke after you use it, not sure if that's normal

Extremely hot and not a strong enough motor
Using it for shrink wrapping and would melt the bottles under the shrink wrapping. Other purposes needing a really hot gun this would be great

Great value!
Bought several of these to use for a seasonal project and this one has become our preferred heat gun as rated by our employees. No problems so far, very good tool does as expected，good heat control seams to be rugged.
