The prunes are fine even with the pits. They come out easily. I've had them without pits, too, and these are just as good.

delicious, flavorful, and juicy
These prunes are delicious and they arrived pretty quickly too. They are excellent prunes- too bad they are a bit expensive. However they taste much better than grocery store prunes. Even though the jar is fairly small, I’m glad I purchased them.
