No issues - comparison against my old Philips
My Philips lasted for about 5 years until the motor began smoking. I wanted to get the XXL but just couldn't justify spending that kind of money. So I decided to give this unit a try.Cons:1) Nothing inside this is non-stick. But the walls are stainless steel so it's possible to clean with alot of Dawn. It takes a fair bit to hand wash the inside. At least it's possible to clean and you can get inside the unit.2) The single rack is okay. As another reviewer pointed out, the built in guide rails are not very good and you can't pull the shelf out half way. If you do, your food falls out all over the counter.3) You must use the menu button. You cannot just set a time and power. But if you just select the first item you can then change the time/power to whatever you want.4) The menu is just a bunch of presets. Very crude, not backlit and small font. So you must have the kitchen lights on bright and wearing your glasses.5) I wish they included more drip-pans.6) Most of the air blows down from the left side.7) No one makes a cover that fits this. Covers are important to keep flies out of the vents.Pros:1) Because you are not forced to use the non-stick bucket from Philips, you have more room.2) The bottom drop pan is an excellent fit and grease does get caught.3) Alot more air is moved in this unit than in my 5qt Philips. So food is crisped better. I made french fries perfectly on the first try.4) I can buy square non-stick pans from Target and other vendors that sit inside this.I knew most of the cons when I purchased this. The unit effectively works as I expected.

Cooks as Advertised However,
I would give this Ir Cooker 5 stars for cooking. The drip pan fits the Cooker properly doing the job it is intended to do & both are it easy to clean. But it goes downhill from there. There is no light in the Cooker when the oven door is open when it is not in a cook mode. Putting the rotisserie with a chicken on it into the Cooker is a challenge & is accomplished by sight, feel & bending down. The Cooker comes with rotisserie forks, skewer rack, baking cage, ONE cross bar & TWO wing screws. To change from one accessory to another you have take the one you were using apart remove the crossbar and wing screws and put together the other accessory you want use with the crossbar and wing screws you just removed. Don't lose a wing screw or crossbar you only have two wing screws & one crossbar. The unit at this time cost $169.95 how much more would a Cooker with extra crossbar(s) & wing screw(s) have cost? The Menu Bar is impossible to read when the unit is at counter height. It would not be a problem if I were 4' 8" but I'm 5' 11" & have to stoop down. It also comes with a wire rack, mesh basket & other accessories. I have used the mesh basket & am more than satisfied with it. The directions want you to hand wash the accessories no where do they say anything about a dishwasher. They also tell you not to submerged the Cooker in water but if you don't already know that you are ill-advised to activate any electric appliance at all. The Cooker is well made & its ability to cook is above average to other Air Cookers in have owned. However, the manufacturer's design placement of the Menu Bar selections was poor should have been sloped more or placed on the top of the Unit so it could be seen & operated without stooping down. Lack of additional crossbar(s), wing screw(s) & no oven light when oven is open not in a cooking mode was not well thought out. I have owned other Air Cookers they all have short comings. Plastic dome's crack when dropped or crack from prolong use due to heat that may not be a problem if the heating element fail's first. Drip Pan do not catch all the drippings & are hard to clean which again is not always a problem as most don't come with drip pans. Extender's, if you have one, do not fit properly and domes fall apart when trying to place them all together on the base. The dome falls off from the heating head when you lift it up from the base by the heating head. This is always fun when you have a hot heating head in you hands and the dome is rolling around on the floor. I can say one thing positive about domes it is easier to see the food cooking in them then in this Cooker. After all I have said I am going to keep this Unit the reasons being are it is well made, cooks as advertised, easy to clean & most of all fits into the place I have for one in my kitchen. And I do like the Unit's color.

Absolutely superb deal!
This was my first venture into air frying and I was very excited. I thought it was time to retire the old microwave since a mini convection oven would be less dangerous as well as eliminate any radio noise (meaning it won't interrupt bluetooth & wifi signals like microwaves do.)This 12.6 quart air fryer seems like it would be big, but is way smaller and neater than expected which is nice. A plus is that it's only 5lbs so it truly is still portable. Setup was a breeze. All you have to do is slide in the rack and drip tray then you're good to go. It's a snug fit for the racks though and seems like it could potentially scrape metal off into food as you insert/remove accessories (which there are a lot of for the price!)As far as accessories you get a baking cage for things like french fries as well as a frying basket which I guess would be for larger items like fish. You also get a skewer rack for rotisseries and a normal mesh metal basket. You also get handles for the baskets to load them in and pull them out without burning yourself. All in all a very good deal for the price since other ovens or large air fryers are close to $300 or more and don't even come with all these accessories.I tried out all the accessories using pizza puffs for most and sausages for the skewers. The skewers were a bit hard to handle, they really need to find a way to lock the contraption you put together in place once you assemble it as it easily falls apart. Never the less I got it together and once in the oven they came out perfectly done, almost as if I fried them. They were especially juicy and flavorful as well. The oven is extremely easy to use and for those with the same questions I had, the oven goes up to 430 degrees, NOT just 390 as most of these air fryers say in their description. The other accessories baked the pizza puffs almost perfectly too. All sides seemed to come out well, nothing was left untouched. I melted some cheese in the oven as well which at high temperatures turns into a perfect golden brown in some parts. There were no weird flavors or anything added by the oven, all in all a fantastic buy for anyone!
