Rabbit Axis Lever Corkscrew

Love the ease of use. Also, love the color. I also have a battery operated opener that occasionally has glitches when opening. But this lever corkscrew works every time without any difficulty.

First of all I have ever written a review. I am extremely disappointed in this purchase. Was really hoping that the new rabbit corkscrew was going to replace my old rabbit wine opener that is now 20+ years old. The Rabbit R1 is not easy to use. It is difficult to open bottles as it requires really good finesse and hand strength to hold onto. After using only 3 times the handle broke right off. It is now past the point that I can return. What a waste of money.

It works as described and is compact. Easy to use.

This is the second one of these corkscrews that I have bought. The first one had obviously been used by someone else and was broken when it arrived. The second one has a corkscrew but the foil cutter is missing. I am beyond stressed. Will try to open the wine tomorrow, however I would never gift this to someone. Never.........Second installment. I opened a brand new Rabbit Axis corkscrew. And guess what? No foil opener! I give up. I will not pursue this anymore. Will buy a cork screw with the “wings”. It worked for years until my son broke it☹️

I recommend this product wholeheartedly. The navy color adds a touch of class to my kitchen, and it's not just about looks. This corkscrew is perfect for compact storage. Despite these fantastic features, I must point out that a warranty would be the cherry on top. Nonetheless, this corkscrew pulls its weight and more!

This was purchased solely on the performance basis of a prior Rabbit product. My recommendation is to avoid this product. It is worse than substandard. I bought two as gifts and have been told by both people it flat out doesn’t work. At two-times the cost of a generic screw pull/corkscrew wine opener you will regret buying this for yourself or as a gift. It may look chic/design-forward, but it functionally fails. Zero stars. Stick with the original Le Creuset TM 100L2-31.

Just great

Don’t have much luck with these types of wine openers. Worked well for short while then cork started getting stuck and eventually the mechanism to open didn’t work well. Went back to old fashion simple opener. Perhaps just user error.
