Alien Nostromo Flat Bill USCSS Movie Hat Appliqué Patch Cap Unisex Adult Navy

I wanted to get something cool and horror-related for this October, and being that I love the movie Alien, this clicked with me: I find it amusing that one of crew members lowest on the totem-pole got this cool a hat: but who's complaining! Construction is very, very good, sturdy, looks like it came out of the universe of the classic movie: { it's not as weathered, used, or stained like the movie-one, but prop replicas tend to be in as-issued condition } . Really love it, it also helps that I have been in the market for a flat-billed baseball-cap for casual wear for sometime, so I can really get some use out of it. In the immortal word{s} of Engineer Samuel Elias Brett, "Right" !

The fit is just what I wanted: nice crisp brim, very well formed not flimsy. The patches are great quality and look perfect. Recommend very highly.

This hat is super high quality. It's nor a cheap costume gat like others I've purchased from Amazon. It fits great on my big head. The patch is near spot on to the film. The scrabbled eggs appear exactly as they should. It fits more like a trucker hat. Medium to high crown. I highly recommend this Alien/Nostromo hat.

I hate polyester! It's a cheap, crappy material. However, the original movie cap was made of polyester, and so an accurate reproduction should also be. What I can say is that this is the best, most rugged poly cloth I have ever seen. Very durable. The hat is very well made. Some of the colors on the patch are slightly off, but the patch is embroidered right into the hat. The scrambled egg brim braid is not metal wire like the original, but it is nicely done. It seems to be firmly attached, but I see no evidence that it is stitched to the brim, as some have indicated.I highly recommend the cap

In all honesty this hat could sell for 80 dollars in a collectible store and people would buy it, it’s that good. I rarely write reviews but this hat exceeded my expectations so much that it felt irresponsible not to.First of all the quality of the hat is about as good as you’ll ever find for an adjustable cap. It’s thick material that will wear in with time without falling apart.Secondly, the attention to detail. The gold crests on the bill ARE SEWN IN. They aren’t just iron on patches or raised thread (like the logo of a LA Dodger hat). It’s actually sewn into the bill with borders around it. That means it’s flush with the rest of the bill and you don’t have a massive weight of thread weighing it down. On top of that the actual patch is exactly how it appears in the movie, raw threads hanging off and all. It will wear in so good, even to the point of Henry Dean Stanton’s if that’s the look you want to go for.At the price this thing is selling for it’s a steal.

This is not a costume hat. It's a decent quality snap-back cap fairly accurate to the film prop except for patch colors, quite evident in the sample photos. Beige/white background is too light and appears more bluish in the original and the "cloud" should be close to white, not pink, in my perception. This one is true to details other versions lack, though, like the deep trucker style and the size and placement of the patch.I had one of the 1979 replicas I bought at a sci-fi convention when I was a kid. I have no idea what happened to it, and always being a big horror movie nerd, I jumped at the chance to get another one.

What an awesome cap.Probably the best quality for the money. Looks great, and very close to the screen-used caps. Only things that aren't "accurate" are that the under bill is supposed to be green, and the Nostromo patch needs a blue field instead of white. The patch actually looks like the ones worn on the uniforms. The scrambled egg insignias are spot-on (gold on black) and are actually sewn to the bill.The fit is really nice and the cap feels durable and not cheap. Bill is nice and wide, just like the movie cap.All in all, a fantastic Brett cap. Especially for the price. Recommended for any ALIEN fan.

During the filming of the movie there were two caps worn by Brett. The 'hero' cap, which came to light upon Mr Stanton's death (and is now in a museum). And the 'stunt' cap for his demise scene. The cap being sold here is as close as anyone can possibly get to the hero. The Thinking Cap Company were given a license for the stunt cap. Notice the change in background colour of the Nostromo 'badge'. Also of note is the change in Kane's shoulder badge when he is about to be killed by the chestburster,, from earlier in the film. The hat is an absolutely amazing piece of memorabilia. Great embroidery and solid fabric.

This is a great replica. I've owned the other more expensive 'official' version but this is better. Personally I think the emblem is as close as you could get to the film. Definitely closer than any other I've seen.
