Not bad, but be extra careful if you're a noob
As a first time user of epoxy, this was a very nerve-wracking experience for me. The epoxy was going on a homemade desktop I had spent hours creating. The instructions that came with the product were very thorough and even had a troubleshooting guide if you found yourself in a certain scenario. I feel like I followed the instructions perfectly. I didn't whip the mixture at all I poured the resin into the hardener(or the other way around. Whichever they say in the instructions), and yet I still ended up with thousands of micro-bubbles. Luckily I had a heat gun, and was able to pop the vast majority of them upon application(some still persist in the final product). Also, the mixture never warmed up after extended mixing as described in the instructions. On one particular batch, I spent over 20 minutes just mixing, simply to make sure it was completely combined. The main reason I chose epoxy for this job in the first place was its smooth, self-leveling finish. And this certainly got the job done. It really evened out the rough surface of the wood I used and helped bring out the grain a lot. Thorough and meticulous surface prep is a must. My entire desktop was made of pallet wood, and as such had a lot of holes and cracks. While I felt I had been fairly thorough, I still missed a few spots, and could have definitely used a second seal coat, before I applied the flood coat. My only other issue with this product is the ease with which it scratches. Being "Table Top Epoxy Resin" I thought it would be able to resist most all scratches. But after a few weeks with my plastic keyboard on top of it, I'm starting to see a lot of micro scratches. I've solved the problem by buying an extra large mouse pad, but its still very disappointing. I would probably try a different product or something of higher quality if I were to do this again.

Best epoxy out there!!!
Awesome product! Perfect coat everytime with a little attention to the prep before pouring. For anyone using this for the first time, preparation of the surface being coated is critical. Make sure it is well sealed, knots and cracks are filled with a compatible filler (epoxy, aqua-coat glaze, etc), and the surface has been completely de-dusted and wiped with acetone (with the grain or it shows). Also, follow the directions provided and stir it well. The results you get with careful preparation are by far better than any other epoxy mirror coat out there.*Updated*Attached a couple of pictures with this product used. Again, best epoxy out there.

Tough, high-quality colorless, odorless resin, reasonable priced!
This seems to be the most reasonably priced resin available. I have used it a couple times to make scales for knives. It has no odor, it dries perfectly clear and in a couple days it becomes extremely hard and tough. Overcoats blend seamlessly into the previous layers, even if there are scratches and blemishes. The first time I used it, I didn't deal with the few bubbles that appeared on the surface of the first layer. I gouged the bubbles out with a knife as poured a second layer. The second layer merged perfectly with the first and no trace of the bubbles could be seen.I followed the instructions concerning bubbles the second time I used the resin. I was able to eliminate them with a propane torch.Although this is sold as a bar and table coating, I believe that it can be used in any resin application: Production of micarta, resin art, casting, etc.I am 100% satisfied with this purchase.

Scratches easily!!
Terrible product with zero customer service! Used it on a custom kitchen installed for a customer and it looks great initially but scratches so easily. The only way to remove surface scratches is completely sad and reapply.

Exelent for my table project.
A great product. I finished my 4' square table with this and a black pigment. My table Turned out perfect and with a glossy smooth finish. A tip, if you have any small blemishes, use some 1200+ grit sand paper to smooth it out, buff with automotive rubbing compound, then buff with automotive polishing compound, and lastly polish with plastic cleaner/polish (Plast-X.) This will work later if you develop any small scratches.

1 gal total
When it says 1 gallon I figured it was one gallon each but it’s one gallon total. So I didn’t have enough for my job but it works great and made a very pretty table
