Outdoor Smart/Wifi Plug/Outlet Compatible with Alexa/Google Home,Echo Switch 3 Sockets/Wireless Remote Control Waterproof/Light/Pool Timer by Phone Receptacle Smart Life Qioase

This is the second one of these I bought. The first one controls the lights in my child's play area on the patio. A bug light, A string of lights, a fan, and a decorative light are all individually controlled by the Smart Life app very easily. I wanted this so I could make sure nothing would be left on overnight but the smart options make it even better than expected. Some of the smart scenarios and automation options I have found to be confusing. I was never able to figure out a way to set a timer on a light that would begin from the time it was turned on... I wanted to automatically turn off a switch after 1 hour from the time a switch was turned on, even if it were manually turned on.I bought a second switch for the balcony and can't wait till we can use it to control the Christmas lights this year. My kid loves to touch the button on my phone and watch the snowman inflate.I did require assistance from customer service and they were fantastic. Ultimately the problem ended up being an issue with the phone I was using to try to setup and connect the switch. My new phone will not connect a new switch using the app, I had to use my old phone and everything worked great.

bought an outdoor plug from Amazon so I wouldn’t have download yet ANOTHER app and ended up needing to anyway for it to work. I’m saddened by the fact the state on the Amazon description false information about being able to access the device fromAlexa AND they were SmartLife. In fact this app went as far as trying to mimic that app by using the same color scheme and design. I only kept it because I really needed the outdoor plug and it does work. I’m just disappointed by their dishonesty in NOT BEING compatible with Alexa and for saying that their device can be used on the SmartLife app. Their app is called “ annhome “ which isn’t available on Alexa

Doesn’t work with Alexa...I had it for a few days and tried to link with Alexa it just won’t work. Very disappointed, but at least I can set the timer for automation. We will see how long it lasts no high hopes on this product

Not compatible with Android 9 / Pixel 3. Booted an old phone to get the app running, but unit failed to pair. Instructions are useless. Not directly compatible with google home. Manufacturer should rethink his/her life plan.

This is my third try at having outdoor light controls in Phoenix -- most do not last past a few months. I have three sets, controlling lights in front and back of my home, water fountain an d a bug zapper. Most lights are set on schedules while other features are linked to Alexa. WiFi range is excellent as I have them at the extremes of my outside land as well as having one set buried a few inches underground (and within a waterproof bag but probably still not IAW manufacturer's instructions;-) to hide it from view. Having each of the three plugs with independent control as an advantage as well. Will purchase more of these if/as needed.

Smartplug works great with Smart Life app that you can download from Apps Store. Unit can independently control 3 outlets. We use it to control outdoor string light after dusk. It gets weather data from the internet so it knows when to adjust throughout the year. Bye bye old timer system. Recommended.

Have not able to get this plug connected to the wifi so it can be used. Contacted the company & never got a response. Still have the plug, didn't get it returned before the returnable date, I guess one of these days will tinkle with it again & try to get it to work.

This was 20 bucks, how can you complain? It also worked perfectly for our Halloween and Christmas lights. Each plug can be controlled independently and Alexa had no problem with it. I can highly recommend this since it's well priced and works flawlessly.
