Perfect Solution for Router/AP in a cabinet
Last year I overhauled my network with all-new ASUS ai-mesh gear. I have my router/AP (ASUS RT-AC68U) and two remote APs using Ethernet backhaul. My modem and router are in our living room. I have my modem in a built-in cabinet but had the router/AP on a shelf over the cabinet, hidden as best as possible by tucking it into a corner with a framed picture obscuring it. This also meant running my network cables up to the router from the cabinet and hiding them behind some trim. I never liked this setup since you could still see the router and the antennas were crammed into a corner.I installed this antenna, and now my router is hidden inside the cabinet right next to the modem, and this antenna is up on the middle of a shelf obscured by a large framed picture. Antennas aren't up against drywall/framing in a corner any more, so the signal *might* propagate more freely (I haven't tested signal levels but I'm not inclined to since I have solid coverage with 3 WiFi access points around my house). I'm still getting a solid signal several rooms away while connected to this AP. It's working great for both 2.4 and 5G.I would have preferred a white one to better blend into our decor, but it wasn't a deal breaker. For the price I'm very pleased. Seems to be well made.

Great for the Rosewill RNX-AC1900PCE card
The poor quality antennas on the Rosewill RNX-AC1900PCE card I purchased gave me frequent disconnects (from WiFi network), timeouts and only adequate bandwidth. Before packing it up and sending it back to Amazon, I decided to give a new antenna a try first. This Eightwood has given me minimum 5x the bandwidth, lower latency and no disconnects, timeouts or packet drops in the more than 48hrs since it was installed. Although I've only propped the array on top of my computer, it has an extra long cable in case I want to move it to a location with a better reception.Worth the money.UPDATE: 08/29/2020A little over two weeks later and the card/antenna combo has still had NO problems in 24/7 usage. To give you a little background, my computer is in the basement and the Comcast WiFi router is on the 1st floor. There are 2 Comcast xFi pods (wifi mesh extenders) on the first floor and one in the basement, to help the Wifi cover the whole house. However, the basement pod frequently falls victim to significant interference (a result of being within feet of plumbing, HVAC, water heater, etc. - all items Comcast says NOT to put a pod near) so it - mostly - connects to a pod on the first floor. While this does lead to a small decrease in bandwidth (100mbps+ down to around 70mbps+. Doesn't affect latency, however!), it's a testament to how much reach this antenna has given my 12yr old Apple Mac-Pro 3,1.

to make her happy we went from 2 stations to 25 stations so I would say this works pretty good
The product shows up packaged in just a clear bag. There is a smaller bag full of various adapters. There are no instructions as to which adapter to use. I happened to find a combination for my F-150. The antenna itself seems to be functional and the AM/FM reception in my area is OK. I had a smaller antenna before that was broken off in the car wash. This one seems a little more pliable and I hope it will survive the car wash.

Great flexibility
Didn’t get it thinking boost wifi signal. Its wifi and you can only get so much signal regardless of the ads. Got it for flexibility for my Asus 86U. The router needed to be placed low and out of the way which of course kills the signal. Was able to use this three antenna base, mount it on a wall where it can’t be seen in a home office. Gets very strong signal and my throughput is in the mid 500’s to low 600’s wireless. Which is fantastic. Highly recommended.

Easy to install but weakens signal
I was so convinced that this would improve my wifi signal based on where my router was located that I continued to use it for two months in spite of all the evidence to the contrary. I kept moving the base around and readjusting the antenna positions and nothing would get my signal strength back to what I had before. Finally, I disconnected it and reinstalled the original 3 antennae that came with my Dlink router and right away my signal improved. I guess it was a relatively inexpensive way to find out what I had before wasn't so bad.

works and doesn't look half bad
this works and didn't give me any grief installing it, so thats a 5 star review if you ask me.

Trust the other negative reviews
So I read the reviews about this antenna making other users wifi signal worse. I decided to try it for myself since it's hard to find a good extension base with 3 connectors. They were right. No increase in signal at first and after a few minutes my signal actually went down. I tried moving the antenna to find a good sweet-spot but nothing really improved the signal. I put the original antennas back on my adapter and saw the signal immediately improve. This is truly baffling seeing how this antenna claims to have 6 dBi vs the antennas that came with my wifi card are at 2 dBi.

Wonderful results and easy to install!
I have an older Netgear wireless router that has served our house well for many years, but one computer in particular has been having connectivity issues —a self-built desktop with PCI wireless adapter card. At times, the Internet connection would be great, but would slow down or drop completely often. All I had to do was unscrew the three antennae from the back of the wireless car and connect the three cables in their place. The antennae at opposite end of the extension cables are placed high upon nearby furniture. The improvement was immediate and profound. We are very happy to have picked up this replacement WiFi antennae system. There is no software or tools needed. Anyone can install this in just a few minutes. Just note that this is for three-antennae systems. Eightwood sells a similar product for two-antennae systems called "Eightwood Dual WiFi Antenna with RP-SMA Male Connector, 2.4GHz 5GHz Dual Band Antenna Magnetic Base for PCI-E WiFi Network Card USB WiFi Adapter Wireless Router"
