Amazing books

This is a lovely book, I could not put it down and completed it in one day. Sally Rooney is a wonderful author and has captured perfectly the angst and anxiety of teenage years and that first love when everything you want to say comes out all wrong and you end up at cross purposes with each other.This is a book I will read again as there is a certain magnetism between the couple that draws you back to them again and again. I am looking forward to further books from this author.In the TV movie of this book Paul Mescal & Daisy Edgar Jones are perfect for the parts of Connell and Marianne and stick closely to the story and dialogue which is sometimes unusual in an adaptation of a book. They certainly deserve an award for their performance.
