5+ year review. Still good.
Honestly, just a great go-to knife. Reliable, inexpensive, holds an edge well, and sharpens with relative ease.I've been using mine (or it's replacements) nearly daily for almost 6 years.(I don't bother putting it away. It stays out with a cutting board ready for a moments notice) It started out as a gift from a friend, and I've come to order or replace over half a dozen of these as gifts to friends and family (I have casually left a few behind as gifts during traveling. And yes, I bring my knives on vacation when possible) and everyone has sung it's virtues back to me.It's light, comfortable to handle, and a joy to work with. (My favorite is the lack of heel/bolster for quick back of knife slicing)I have several expensive knives that cost several hundred dollars each from WillSonom types to handmade Damascus. Those are mostly purpose built and come out for specific tasksThis is my daily. I'm not afraid to abuse it, and it doesn't mind being abused. It's held up to my tasks and WITH REGULAR MAINTENANCE(honing) and occasional SHARPENING (either with whetstone or lazy/makeshift back of ceramic mug), the thing has been a trooper. Most any knife can come sharp out of the box, but I can say from experience that this one does hold up (with minor effort) over time.

Great quality for the money
This knife is larger than I expected, but very sharp and has a nice balance . The grip is comfortable and it is a high quality construction. I would recommend this product.

Love it!!
Sharp, precise, sturdy. Love it!!! Just don’t hold an avocado while dicing it because you’ll get to wear the cute bandaids you bought your kids like I currently am. No seriously, this knife has performed phenomenally!

quality knife
this is a great knife and kitchen workhorse. I love the weight of it, its easy to sharpen and cuts well. I didn't anticipate that the only downfall is the wooden handle, because I can't wash it in the dishwasher, otherwise a great knife for a great price!

Great knife
So far so good! I have a few top end knives and some middle of the road that all cost a lot more. But this is a great knife quick and light in the hand, very sharp! Pleasure to work with. Ya it’s a keeper.

Good knife for the money, functional
It does what it needs to do for my kitchen/deli work. After 8 months of use, the handle really feels good, though I should probably oil it a little more than I do... I kinda like the dry, matte look and feel it gets over time. I don't know much knife terminology so bear with me as I try to explain this, but, one important thing to note is that the height of the blade is quite short, especially at the heel (close to the handle), compared to many other chefs knives. This took some getting used to, and I had to learn to actually hold it in a correct manner (apparently I hadn't been doing that before)... and after a week or two I really started to love it. Honestly, I can say this knife has been an excellent value and has delivered exactly what I was looking for-- a natural, soft, and comfortable feel and look, as well as a subtle uniqueness. I do recommend.
