Our kitties love it!
Our kitties love this Furminator Sensitive Areas tool. There are 3 areas of different bristles - one in center with stiffer plastic bristles and 2 softer flexible areas on each end. The softer areas are perfect for their faces and around their ears. Even our shy Tuxedo kitty loves it. I would highly recommend.

My cats are fighting to be brushed
Normally my cats hate being brushed, but they loved this from the first time. I didn't think it would get that much fur, but it does get all the surface loose hair. The only draw back is it should come with a brush cleaner, luckily I already have some hair brush rakes otherwise the hair starts depositing back on the cat.

Very disappointed
I like the fact that this comb is curved to fit the hand and curves on my cats. Other than that, I am very disappointed, especially given Furminator's reputation. It's advertised for "sensitive areas," but all but one small area (1/4 of entire comb) is rock-hard, not flexible and doesn't remove fur. The main area is more like a bunch of toothpicks. My cats don't like it, for the simple reason that it's painful for them, I assume. I felt that i was being cruel to them when I brushed them. Because combs are not flexible, it's nearly impossible to remove hair between the "teeth." I wanted very much to like this, but I just don't. I returned item.

Hard plastic, does nothing
I had high hopes with how well this was rated on Amazon, as well as looking at Google reviews. The top strip is a hard rubber, and not very sticky. The rest of the product is just hard plastic. It does absolutely nothing for grooming cats of various hair length and texture.Recommendation- do some more searching and get one of those grooming gloves with softer rubber bristles.

Great brushing tool
This is great for brushing my female german shepards (70lbs) belly and inner thighs. I actually feel okay about brushing over her n*pples with this, as it is not painful like a metal brush or even the one with the plastic tips on the ends. This is definitely not good for de-shedding, just removing tangles. I would repurchase this as it is excellent. I use a separate brush for getting rid of loose fur and deshedding as this is not for that.

Pass for my dog and I
This FURminator brush for dogs are cats is a different take on the FURminator. It’s it has plastic and rubber bristles. The brush itself is large and has a very big surface area. The side bristles are the soft ones and the center ones are hard plastic. There is a variety of types of bristles as well. The FURminator brush has a folding handle. It makes it slightly more compact. It’s a little bit of an odd feels so it does take some getting used to. It can also slide and it just depends on how you want to hold it and the areas you need to brush. It’s not the most natural grip or feel. I really wanted to like this but I just don’t. My dog wasn’t crazy about it either.Unfortunately, I’m not very happy about the fact that it has a California proposition 65 warning on the brush. It seems like there are so many materials these days and it would be nice to see something that is not made of a cancer causing agents. I would rather pay more for chemical free products but this price isn’t al that cheap anyway. For such a big brand I would like to see them care more about their pet owners.

Durable and practical!
My baby (Aussie/Collie mix), looks so polished when I brush him. His long hair is easily untangled and doesn’t matt back up. He loves the massaging effect. Very gentle on him. Every pet owner needs this brand. Recommended to me by my mother-in-law and this time I’m glad I listened. She was right! Well worth the investment.
