LOOK FOR THE INSTRUCTIONS!
I have a brother pacesetter an older machine, and this does not fit my machine :( it makes me sad, but honestly it’s such a cute little thing I think it’s a good thing to try! I’m giving it a five because honestly I think it would’ve worked. It just didn’t fit my machine. For the usability of the device, the five is because I can’t say it didn’t work. Because I got it on there correctly the needle came down. Nothing moved. I realize there wasn’t a setting or Dr. I can put on it to make it work so I can’t say it doesn’t work. It just doesn’t work on my machine so five out of five.!

Does what it's supposed to
The media could not be loaded. Works wonders and don't have to worry about using a serger. I have a Singer Heavy Duty 44S. I just used the overlock stitch and sewed at a moderate pace. The only time I came away with jagged edges was when. I tried to sew really fast, which you shouldn't do with a side cutter on a regular sewing machine, even one that's HD. It's easy to use, easy to install and well worth the money considering that singer wanted 4x what I paid for this and from reviews and specs, are exactly the same, made in the same countries and worth the same amount.

Interesting little tool
This is okay. I'm neither impressed or unhappy, for less than 12 bucks this is what I expected. Fitting it to my older Singer 7011 was tricky. The bar that holds to the needle shank was really tight and took a little more muscle than I thought it should. And the needle BARELY clears the foot. I wore safety glasses because I really expected the needle to hit the metal part of the foot and snap back at my face. I changed to the smallest needle I could find and that made it a little less scary. But not by much. No way would I have tried this on a thicker fabric. Just a little more resistance and it would hit it.It also fit my newer Singer Patchwork but I didn't try running fabric through yet. I'm still learning how to use it. It was right on the needle shank there as well but the needle clearance isn't as scary. The cutting action isn't the smoothest but once it gets stitched you don't really see that. It did bunch up behind the foot. I had to pull it out for the first few inches, then it was a little easier. It might be my old machine but this was awful on a single layer of thin microfiber that I tried first. It veered all over the place them out completely, the stitch was terrible, and the thread tension was uneven. When I doubled the fabric up it was much better. This wouldn't replace a serger or a tight overlock stitch with a careful eye. But for what it is and the low cost it's going to stay in my supply box. I'm planning to get an older heavy duty machine out of storage and try it on that as well. (Singer HD110). If it preforms differently than what I expect I'll update this but I don't expect any change. I'd recommend this with the reminder that it's not going to blow your knickers back.

It doesn't fit
SIDE CUTTER (for zig-zag sewing machines)MODEL CY10This ONEVER manufactured Side Cutter CY10 (per the product box) sold by Tensee as Model 2016-10-21-035SE on Amazon is advertised to “fit all low shank machines...which include Singer and Kenmore. It does not work with either machine.SINGER - The throat on the “ARM” is too narrow to fit on to the Singer Futura needle clamp. Which means I cannot attach the lower body of the Cutter to the shank. As an aside the “ARM” on most other brands of cutters are bent in the direction of the locking screw to fit the locking screw shank. If this was done the throat of the “ARM” would be wide otherwise the “ARM” would come loose after a time. The Side Cutter ability to cut and sew as advertised could not be rated since we could not fit it onto the machine.Kenmore – The “ARM” which holds the cutting blade is impacted by the Kenmore needle clamp on it's downward stroke. Prior to reaching the full downward stroke the needle fails to clear the foot thereby striking the foot the impact directs the needle towards foot needle opening whereas the afore mentioned needle clamp impact on the cutter's “ARM” occurs. Needless to say the cutter was not cutting. I have several decades of sewing experience with too many machines.ONEVER Side Cutter Sewing Machine Presser Foot Feet Attachment Accessory for All Low Shank Singer Janome Brother

not compatible with Husqvarna Sapphire 835
This foot was not advertised as compatible with any Husqvarna/Viking machines, but for the price, I decided to try it with mine, a Sapphire 835. I soon discovered that the handle of the screw which secures the needle on the machine is too thick to allow the end of the movable arm of this side cutting foot to engage properly. I enlarged the opening at the end of the arm, using an electric drill. Now the arm fits and can go up and down with the needle. But even then, the cutting foot only works fine sometimes and other times it catches the fabric. So it worked OK, not great. I may have to splurge and buy the foot made by Husqvarna. I will update when I try it with my Jenome, which is supposed to be compatible.

Great little attachment
Wasn't sure if this cutter would work with my machines (I have 3). Worked well with the Singer Patchwork and the Janome HD2200. My Brother SE1900 did not like it but then I have found that this particular Brother machine only likes Brother parts. As long as it works on my other 2 machines, I am happy. I mainly use the Brother for embroidery anyway. My Singer and Janome are my "go to" machines. Seems to work well with them. The price for this great cutter is well worth the purchase. Would recommend for anything but a Brother.

Efficient little tool
Works as described - a bit difficult to figure out and fidgety, but once you get the hang of it, it works as desired and expected.
