Love this tea!
What a wonderful tea to enjoy anytime of day or night. Add a touch of maple syrup and it is such a relaxing experience. The smell is lovely. This is my only product on subscription. The price is phenomenal as well.

I prefer a stronger flavor, but this is a very nice, light tea.

Excellent tasting green tea!
I have been drinking this product for over 5 years now since I was first introduced to it at a Japanese fish market. It has an excellent flavor and I drink it every morning. Most green teas are very bland and don't taste good but this one is actually flavored with rice and you're not actually eating the rice and getting the carbs.

Good Genmaicha tea
We travelled 3 times to Japan and have tried many varieties of Genmaicha. For one reasonably priced, in a foil packet, this one is quite reasonable. Moderately rich, fragrant and calming. Always a nice alternative in our tea drinking; indeed one I tend to often favor. Hints: Hot water somewhat below boiling, and keep water level about 6-7 oz to maintain robustness. Not a tea for large mugs.

Delicious tea
This is a delicious tea, it’s my favorite non iced tea and has a delicious and robust earthy green tea flavor (not as sharp as matcha and no flowery taste like jasmine green) without tasting like a cup of grass. Then as you are sipping the roasted brown rice flavor comes through its a very substantial yet calming flavor and aroma. I enjoy having this tea first thing in the morning, before my morning coffee, and at night after dinner.If you are fasting, and yet drinking tea, this tea is very substantial it provides a nice fullness after drinking.This is not a tea that can sweep for more than a few minutes. I left a tea bag in thermos and the tea broke down and left particles that made it a bit difficult to drink.

Tastes like Japan!
The toasted rice is what makes this tea better than the regular green tea. The aroma of the rice gives this umami taste. And it smells wonderful!
