PA PASSifier: Clinical Guidebook and PANCE Review Paperback – August 30, 2023

I bought this my first semester of didactic year and I did not use it much initially but now in my second semester i use the book a lot. I annotate on it as I watch youtube videos. I then use that to review alongside with power points. Very helpful, very organized, I actually do not mind the font size. One recommendation for the future, maybe include separate sections just for medications explaining what they do similar to some other alternatives out there. Otherwise, I'm glad I bought this book.

This product is amazing. It includes the most relevant medical information and includes every disease learned in medical school preclerkship. It is organized so well and is easy to follow and read as well. I am so grateful I purchased this product and I will recommend it to everyone I know. It includes amazing images as well. Essential product if you want to master medical material.

Imagine Pance Prep Pearls if it was neatly organized into note cards and gave a brief explanation of pathophysiology for each disease. That’s what this book does. It’s also a great reference to quickly look up first line treatments and typical clinical presentations of diseases. Definitely a book every PA student should have in their study arsenal.

I would rate a 3.5.I wanted to try something other than PPP because I was feeling a bit overwhelmed by it. I’ve been using the book for about two months and overall find it well-organized and informative. I appreciate the extra context it provides, as I like understanding the "why" behind concepts while studying. Having all the necessary information in one book, rather than two, is also a plus.However, I’ve noticed quite a few typos and occasionally need to verify information with credible sources, which is my main drawback. The print is small, but the book does a great job of summarizing diseases concisely, with a useful section at the end of each topic highlighting key points.

This is a MUST HAVE for anyone trying to pass their PA PANCE exam! The book is well written and very easy to use as a study guide. Even beyond a study guide it will be an excellent reference book for practicing PAs and anyone in the medical field. The price point is excellent.

I REALLY wanted to like this book as I am preparing for my PANCE next month. However, the print is so small. I wish I had this in a digital version as the content is good, I just get headaches straining my eyes to read it. I think I will be sticking with Pance Prep Pearls due to their font. I 100% think if there were digital versions to zoom in on my ipad/computer this would be a winner for me.

Just received this copy. I haven’t looked through it completely yet, but it looks very well organized and the most essential information included. I did notice that there seemed to be a few pages dedicated to the different antibiotics which I very much appreciate. I can’t wait to dig in and learn!

This is a great resource for PA students to study for exams and I had high hopes for this book. What REALLY bothers me is that it's black and white. I would have gladly paid more if this book was in color. I hope the authors reconsider and print it in color. I would buy it again.
