5 stars, but….
So i requested a refund due to more than half of the jars being popped open due to transit or heat. I ordered it during CA’s heat wave in June and did not think it would affect it when I ordered it, BUT a couple jars survived and I got to try them. They taste good 👍 so maybe if Amazon would pack it thicker but otherwise i think the heat messed it up this time around.

REVISED: New label new taste
REVISED: After a year of being literally addicted to these pickles I have to say they are the worse now. Its all personal preference but now the skins are so thick and tough and pickle is not as crunchy (not mushy) but definitely not worth buying by cases anymore. Even the slices are bigger which I do not like. I liked the smaller uneven natural pieces and do believe this is to give you less of a cucumber when you count them. And no, I am not a huge eater: I'm a pickle lover; so much so i've made my own 3 yrs in row and they were not great but now they are better then/than these!Love this new version. delicious and crunchy. I even like how some are not cut perfect!

Good value, arrived safely, Kosher Dill spears as I remember them
After reading reviews about broken product I was a bit worried since delivery to my rural location is all USPS. However, in a mixed order the plastic wrapped cardboard tray of 24oz jars arrived in good condition and all jars appear to have intact seals. The one I opened was fine and the spears inside were full length of the jar and still as crunchy as any shelf-stable pickle has been in the past. Flavor was typical of shelf-stable dills that I've been buying since the 60's.The only thing that puzzled me a bit was no date code anywhere on the jars or packaging that I could see. Maybe it's there and my old eyes can't pick it out. I wasn't worried since an older jar I'd opened had sat in the fridge for nearly a year while I was gone and it was still fine. Pickles keep.Lastly, value. The advertised price was just under 12 dollars for a case of six but at the time of purchase there was a 25% off coupon offered. I was a bit suspicious that they were dumping product at EOL but figured it was worth a try. The net cost was about 9 dollars for six jars so 1.50 per 24oz jar. That's cheaper than I paid at the store last time I bought there and that was pre-Covid and I didn't have to drive 20 miles to town. Good value and a nice addition to the survival ration store.

In a pickle? Have a pickle...
6 glass jars of pickle spears... when they all make it unscathed/unbroken (which happens most of the time; rare to have one or two busted), the highly desired treats are worth it. Vlasic pickles are the best tasting amongst their competitors IMHO, and the crunch is strong enough to take the bite out of a stressful day. As with all groceries these days, though, they're a bit expensive and we just wish that the price would come down. At least this food doesn't hurt the waistline as much as the wallet...
