Simple and effective
My flat’s Wi-Fi can be a bit temperamental, especially when I’m downloading large files for work. I plugged this into my laptop’s USB-C port and connected the ethernet cable, and it just worked instantly. No drivers, no setup. The difference was immediately obvious. Download speeds are now consistently fast and, more importantly, the connection is completely stable. It’s a small, simple dongle that I can easily chuck in my laptop bag. It gives me a reliable, wired connection whenever I need one, which is perfect for when a wireless connection just isn't cutting it for important tasks.

Reliable and well made
Been getting fed up with unreliable connections with my old setup so decided to tweak things around a bit and use one of these instead. Now I can honestly say I will never go back to the old setup I had. Not only does this show a visible difference in speed, and it really does, the connection is far more stable. Not once have I suffered a drop right when I needed reliability the most, and not once have I noticed it even slow down. I have not even noticed the adapter getting hot! Everything is cool and stable, exactly like i want it.The real shine to this adapter though is the speed. You seriously can tell a difference, it's not just a bogus claim, it really does make things smoother and faster for you. And what's more is that the adapter feels very solid and well made too. I honestly have no complaints over this whatsoever. Would highly recommend.

Really well built and reliable 5Gigabit ethernet dongle
A reassuringly solid C to Ethernet adaptor. The vented and over sized casing are testament to its build quality. The case is also marked UK certified. This works seamlessly with my iPadPro and MacBookPro. I have had a couple of ethernet adaptors fail on me over the years and so I generally carry a few with me. This one is now top of the pile. I don't have a way to check the 5Gb properties of this adaptor as I would need a serious upgrade on my network, but so far over the past month or so this has performed effortlessly.

Great Work
This WAVLINK 5G USB-C to Ethernet adapter is a powerhouse for anyone needing ultra-fast wired connectivity. I use it with a MacBook Pro and an iPad Pro, and it instantly bridges a fast, reliable connection — perfect for Zoom calls, file transfers, or remote desktop work. No drivers or setup required — true plug and play. The build quality is excellent with a braided cable and compact housing that doesn't heat up. It supports USB 3.1 Gen 2 speeds, so you’ll want to be sure your USB-C port supports it too, otherwise you won’t get the full 5Gbps.It’s perfect for offices or home networks where Wi-Fi isn’t stable. If you want a future-proof Ethernet adapter that won’t bottleneck your speeds, this one stands out for both performance and reliability.

Insanely Fast and Worth Every Penny – True 5G Ethernet Power!
was tired of "Gigabit" speeds feeling like dial-up in a fiber world. Let me tell you — this thing is blisteringly fast. It’s not marketing fluff; if your setup meets the requirements (USB 3.2 Gen 2+, CAT6 cable, and 5Gb-enabled router or switch), you will absolutely see transfer speeds that blow Gigabit out of the water. I regularly clock over 4.6Gbps, which is insane for a portable adapter. The build quality is just as impressive. The aluminum housing feels premium and keeps it cool during long transfers — no overheating issues here. At just over 3 inches, it's super compact and travel-friendly, perfect for professionals or gamers on the move. It's compatible with Windows, macOS (including M3 chips), and Linux — plug-and-play for newer systems, though older systems might need the Realtek driver (easy to install).Bonus features like Wake-on-LAN, WPD, and the LED status lights are a nice touch for techies who want more than just speed. The green/amber light indicators are surprisingly helpful for quick network diagnostics. At £50, I’d call this great value for what you're getting — this isn’t just an adapter, it's an investment in serious wired performance. If you’re looking to future-proof your Ethernet connectivity and take full advantage of your high-speed infrastructure, this is a no-brainer.

Brillant
A cheaper way to go with getting 5g network speeds rather than having to fork out for pci cards and getting a good Wi-Fi 7 routers. Works well and setup was plug and play. Windows recognised it and I’ve had no issues with drops or any random crashes off itSo I on that note I would recommend
