This review is coming in five years after our purchase but this has been a purchase well worth it! The ease of set up, the breakdown to fit into a cute carrying case that makes the process of taking it to multiple locations seamless. No complaints with the light settings, you can set it to fit various settings to accommodate the vision you are looking to create.

As someone who has done photography in both my professional and personal life for 25 years, I have purchased hundreds of pieces of photography equipment. This IR-45 Ring Light Set by IVISII is exceptional.While many times the only option is to purchase high quality items a la cart or buy a lesser quality as a set I was so pleased with this set. Every piece in this set is constructed from high quality components and performs beautifully.The light filters, a white softening filter and an orange filter, snap snuggly around the ring light and can be both attached and detached with ease.The set is complete with a standard 1/4” camera mounting bracket, a 1/4” mini ball head mounting bracket and a universal cell phone bracket. I’ve had no problems attaching and detaching all of my equipment repeatedly.The light performs incredibly well. Due to the size, it casts an immense amount of light. The dimmer control knob makes adjusting the light output effortless. Due to the bulbs being LED the light weighs very little, produces no radiant heat and will last a very long time.Unlike many photography sets that include a cheap, poorly made tripod, this set is complete with an excellent, sturdy tripod that will hold up for years.The light and all of its accessories, except the tripod, fit within a great padded, easy to carry, case. The case has padding built into both outer sides and a middle divider. It is complete with heavy duty zippers, handles and an adjustable shoulder strap.If you are looking for a light that will take your photography to another level, look no further. This is a set you are guaranteed to love.

The media could not be loaded. This ring light is AMAZING! I e been looking at all the ring lights on Amazon, and almost bought a cheaper one but I’m really glad I got this one instead, because the quality is so much higher! My hairdresser has two of the cheaper ring lights from amazon (ones from the $30-40 range) and hers are flimsy. The light covers are always falling off and the lights themselves always want to fall over.This ring light and it’s tripod stand are both very sturdy! It comes with a white and orange cover for the light to change the light’s warmth. It also comes with two mounts — one that rotates so you can have your phone or camera up or sideways, and one that is stationary. It also comes with a mount you can screw your actual camera into, and one that will hold your phone. The phone holder can expand to be bigger to hold a larger phone like the iPhone XS Max, which is the one I have. The stand also has an adjuster that allows you to angle the ring light head forward, straight or backwards for different angles. It can even angle straight down if you want to use it for flatlays or table top photography. The rig itself is a huge 18” in diameter which is perfect for potraits, videos, or product photography/videos. I love the dimmer feature so you can change the light strength and find the perfect brightness for your purposes. It gets SUPER bright!As a nice bonus it comes with a little strap you can use to attach the cord to the tripod both while you are using it and as storage, so the cord isn’t messy.I uploaded a video showing the light dimming, as well as one photo at a lower light setting and one at the highest light setting!

The Ring Light is ideal for bloggers and useful for tutorials. It's easy to take it anywhere. I took good photos and videos in a combination of the Ring Light and a Galaxy 8+ phone from up to 8 feet away. It provides smooth and homogeneous lighting since the object receives light from all sides.The phone clip could be stronger. It’s OK for cell phones but I wouldn’t rely on it to hold my EOS camera with a heavy lens. I used a small tripod head instead and it worked fine. You can also shoot without any clip, just holding the phone or camera through the ring, what I found more practical.It fits well in the bag that comes with it but would be ideal if the tripod could also fit together.For larger spaces, however, it works well for filling up light but not as a main source which I believe it was not intended for. What I found very useful though was for photographing small objects. We had to photograph several knives for a catalog and the ring was great. It could even replace the soft box.
